Learn how to make your own quality wine from over 50 varietals of juice we have available. Our juices have been selected from the finest vineyards in the best wine districts worldwide. Additionally, we provide all the supplies needed to make your great wine at home or in our winery. It’s easy, fun and a very cost-effective way to make your wine, your way.

Join us to learn about the basic history, chemistry and viticultural practices of winemaking, followed by a wine tasting to include how to evaluate the wines you taste – conducted by an award-winning winemaker with over 17 years’ experience.

You will receive a copy of the class notes and a 10% discount on all items that are non-alcoholic.

Classes are $50 per person and take place from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Country Wine Making Class

Country Wine Making Class

Country wine is a term often applied to just about any wine made from something other than wine grapes, we will discuss fruit wine making.

There is a wide range of biochemical characteristics involved, such as sugar content, acidity, pH variations, nutrients, etc. that vary significantly from year to year in fruit. To make good wine, it is imperative to understand and apply a consistent wine making technique that takes these variations into account. It requires becoming familiar with measuring sugar content, pH, acidity, and other variants in order to adjust them to fall within range for adequate fermentation to occur and flavor and aroma to properly develop.

We will cover the basic ways to do this and produce good wine. You may want to take notes.
